Remain skeptical - out of love
True skepticism is done not out of spite, or a desire to annoy, or vengeful anger - true skepticism comes out of a deep and true love for a person who has been misled. We are skeptical because we think that humanity is like a tribe in the woods at night, and you are sitting at the wrong fire trying to solve the wrong problems with the wrong methods. We are skeptical not because we wish to mock you or belittle you, but because we want you to join us in the human quest for knowledge. We desire your take on the world unencumbered by easily fooled senses and thin, basic desire. Meaning is what you make it, yes - but it won’t just be made as any shape. The universe does not unfold before you in the form of your beliefs. We remain skeptical because it is so simple to fence off reality and say that it behaves the way you like in that small space. The vastness of the mystery is what is mystical.
